Voting will be in-person on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm at 13 various polling locations. For a list of polling locations, see the list below.
Am I a Qualified Voter?
A qualified voter must be 18 years old by the day of the vote, a citizen of the United States and a resident within the New Rochelle School District for 30 days immediately preceding the vote, and not otherwise prohibited from voting.
Am I Registered to Vote?
Register online with the New York Department of Motor Vehicles. Individuals, 16 years or older may pre-register and will automatically become active on their 18th birthday.
Register by mail by submitting the NYS Voter Registration (link - https://citizenparticipation.westchestergov.com/register-to-vote) form to 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601.

NOTE: Personal Voter Registration *for school district elections only* will be held on Monday May 5th, between 4:00 - 8:00 PM in City Hall, 515 North Ave, second floor, New Rochelle, NY.
How can I vote by mail?
Any registered, qualified voter may submit an application for either an Early Mail Voter Ballot (new this year) or an Absentee Ballot. Early Mail Voter Ballot applications do not require a qualifying reason as does the Absentee Ballot application.

Application must be printed, signed by the voter and returned either in person or by mail to the office of the District Clerk (they cannot be submitted via email):

Application must be received by Tuesday May 13, 2024 if the ballot will be mailed or by 5:00 PM on Monday May 19, 2024 at 5:00 PM if ballot will be delivered personally.

When/Where do I return Early Mail Voter/Absentee Ballots?
Ballots must be returned by 5:00 PM on Monday May 19, 2024 to the District Clerk's Office, 515 North Ave, second floor, New Rochelle, NY. They will be secured until the polls officially close at 9:00 PM, at which time they will be canvassed with the other votes.
